22units to much?

thinking about taking 22 units next semester to get all my units done and raise my gpa. with these classes do you think it will be do able or should i spread it out?

Classes:
calc 2
english 110
statistics
spanish 185
Us history
bio 110

What does your weekly schedule look like? And 22 units is a sh-tload… lol

the most i have taken was 19 and 20 units, its not that bad, but i don’t work. i’m sure if you work it could be more of a challenge.

Okay. I did this last semester, and we have about the same classes.

Luckily, my Calc2 prof was pretty lenient.

Okay here goes:

Calc2 will be the one you’ll be spending most time on, and english probably the least. It will be fine, but you have to work on weekends.

Never had an all nighter in my experience.

I got 4 As, 2Bs, 1C. But then again, my mom had an accident so…

it is for someone who can’t differentiate between “to” and “too”

LOL, oh SNAP.

Monkey, if you can’t handle that schedule I think you aren’t haas material. I usually take 30 units a quarter, just to show haas I’m capable of an extensive course load. Sure, I’m taking excessive amounts of units now, but I’ll pretty much have no classes to take by the winter or spring prior to transferring and I’ll probably get double internships or study abroad.

ya i dont work so that wont be a problem. i took 19 units for both of the last 2 semesters just not sure if 22 will be to much.

i took 23 units last quarter. it isn’t that bad. just don’t procrastinate. it’s def. manageable.

i took 22 units in the fall… 3 days a week, I had 8 o’ clock classes w/a 40-minute daily commute. was ****ing brutal, esp since I didn’t have such great sleeping habits… I also worked on top of that (went directly from school to work, 40-min drive). know that it’ll be quite a load but if you can do it, do it. Good luck!!

You must’ve been incredibly well-disciplined with excellent time management to pull that off that sorta thing.

OP, so long as you possess the aforementioned qualities, you’re golden.

thx HotChocolate! it all paid off though, definitely :)

isn’t this really relative? It pretty much 100% depends on you, your CC, and your teachers…
