2300 first time.. Worth Retaking?

I got a 2300.
770 Critical Reading
800 Math
730 Writing (9 on the essay, really rushed for time, didn't pace very well/the prompt was worded weirdly)

Do you think that I should retake the test? I'm fairly certain I could get the writing up to at least 760. Is what I have good enough for HYPSM?

And yes, I am focusing on grades, ECs, sleep, etc.

I wouldn’t retake it; 2300 and above is regarded as the same for most top schools.

i wouldn’t.
but if you feel like you can truly improve without going through much trouble/sacrifice, then go ahead.

Congrats on the amazing score!

If you can pull your writing and essay score up, why not, especially since it would be merely your second try? If I were you, I would also try to get an 800 in CR as well since colleges tend take a closer look at CR and math combines than at writing. You probably wouldn’t have to study too much, just brush up on your grammar rules and take some practice CR passages. You’ll probably have a good shot at getting a 2400. Good luck!

If you really want to get up early on a Saturday to take a test then fine. Otherwise, why bother?

Depends on the caliber of university you are focusing on…

I wouldn’t waste the time- do something more productive.

Retake? You gotta be joking. I would kill to have your scores. Dnt even waste your time or money on taking it again

Once you’re in the top 1%, it’s not worth retaking.
