25 days!!!

whats the ‘pop’ for in omgpop?

lol. omgpop is this awesome online game.

20 days! have you guys started on your other apps?

Yea finished NYU, gonna start Carnegie Mellon (Tepper) and Michigan soon

I am so behind on my other apps… ha… I have to get going like NOW!

481 hours!! (That really doesn’t seem that long at all!! :))

Next week is gonna be a breeze too. You’ll wake up one morning and it’ll be 12 days!

Yeah! It’s just these next couple of days of school, Thanksgiving break, and then 12 days… which will HOPEFULLY fly by quickly. :)

I can’t stand the waiting! I have anxiety from all of this! Good luck to everybody! And I have NO CLUE how I am going to stay in school all day on the 11th. I am going to be so anxious to check the website. That weekend is either going to be a really good one or a really horrible one =/.

Well, since decisions come out at 3 it’s not like you’ll know sooner by staying home… but I get what you mean, it’ll be a stressful day, ha. I’ve already convinced myself that I’m not getting in and I’m trying to get excited about other schools, so I feel less stress since I’m not expecting anything. But nevertheless I want to know the decision! I hope I’m at least deferred…

I completely agree.

If I get flat-out rejected, meh.
If I get deferred, well… I still have a chance but I still have to pay for application fees to 2034982048923048 other schools.
If I get in… Well.

19 days! bump

18 days! omgomgomgogmogmg I wanna get in soooooooooo badly D:

Does anyone know the data for # applied?

No… sorry. I’ve heard that that data will come out in early December.

Only 18 days and 7 hours! ha

if it’s anything like last year it should be around 3500

any predictions as to whether their acc. rate will go below last years? or higher maybe? o_O
it was 31.5% last year…this year i hope it’ll be like 90%. lol…atleast hoping the acc rate will crack 30% though.

I don’t know… my guess (and I really have no legitimate basis for my guess… it’s just what I’m thinking) is that there will be fewer applications than in the past. It’s just that with the economy as bad as it is, I think more people than usual will want to make sure that they can compare financial aid packages and I think more people will be looking for merit scholarships and such…

And, if my thinking is correct, fewer ED applications means a higher acceptance rate.

However, I do NOT think that it will be easier to get in this year than last year. A higher acceptance rate doesn’t make the applicants less qualified, and honestly, I feel like every year kids become more and more neurotic, scores go up, and college admissions becomes more selective.

Again, I have no legitimate basis for my thoughts, ha… it’s just my honest prediction/assessment.

haha I agreed Hopeful undergod. Hopefully Penn works out for me, it would make life so much easier!! (so will it for everone else commenting on this thread lol)

Wow my grammar was atrocious in my previous comment lol. I AGREE Hopeful UNDERDOG.

haha, That’s okay. Under 430 hours!!! ha

25,787 minutes to be exact… wow, I need a life. :)
