i am currently a freshman at ASU and am 25 years old. I decided to start working after highschool instead of attend college at a time that i wasnt ready for it. I have a very solid business foundation and a passion for business in general. I have been with the same company for 7 1/2 years and i have worked my way from the very bottom to the top. I took my SAT as an incoming frosh last year and scored a 2100. I am enrolled in all the classes required to transfer into Wharton and i currently have a 4.0 GPA. Wharton is my dream and i know that in terms of age i am a little behind the curve, but the path i have chosen has given me the business knowledge needed to succeed at a school of Whartons caliber. Is there anything else i can do to add to my application and are there any concerns being a 25 yo freshman attempting to transfer into an Ivy League

Good luck to you. Don’t have any specific advice, but I did meet a Wharton transfer on campus in September with a very similar background to yours and about the same age. He was complaining, however, about Wharton not granting him credit for his previous classes.

Wow, sounds amazing. You definitely have an interesting story. One thing I noticed though is that almost all of the admitted transfers came from top-tier university (Ivies & their peers, and prestigious state universities like Michigan or UVA).

Do you have a facebook?

I’m from AZ and pretty familiar with ASU and the WP Carey curriculum. It’s great but I’ve certainly never regretted my decision to come to Wharton. Definitely, definitely apply.
