28-29 Orientation

Sorry if this was already discussed, but i read through alot of the old threads and didnt find anything. What should I bring to orientation, just like clothes? And i guess a money order for the boots right, the kit said they don’t accept cash. Anything else I should be prepared for?

Not much. Just bring whatever you'd bring to a sleepover + a money order for boots.

You can also purchase the money order here at the bank next door to boot issue if you can't get one ahead of time.

And good clothing to wear would probably be jeans and a polo.

Be forewarned though, there's usually a long line of appointees at the bank during Orientation. If you can get the money order at home instead, that will save you some time on Tuesday

yeah, i'd get the money at home...in case anyone didn't get the info, it's $92.98 for one pair or (naturally) $185.96 for two. it was quite nice because potter and i walked right in, tried on a couple pair, paid, and left. :)

being a stupid, spoiled so-cal resident, i only brought a heavy jacket, which was too big to wear around, and i didn't have a sweater...i'd recommend you bring a sweater or sweatshirt :) hehe, yes, 'twill be quite an adjustment for me.

Remember Potter is from Las Vegas going from summers at 115 to 90. She really hadn't seen the snow much either....Not in Nevada anymore.

I think I'll miss seeing cactus everywhere...not!

hehehe, i'll be like that guy who asked if he could bring his surfboard to i-day.
hey, dude, how far to the nearest beach?
;)

I think somebody asked that same question at my orientation 2 years ago. :P
