2nd semester course change

I was admitted to u mich early action. My 2nd semester schedule has since changed. I dropped a computer course that was suppose to be an independent study because my school district changed the protocol for independent studies. I didn't replace the course with anything because I have 6 ap classes and a total of 7ap tests to take in May. I emailed Umich of the course change recently and still haven't heard back from them. I'm not worried but I am wondering if anyone else had experience with informing them about a schedule change. Please share :)

thanks

I don’t have experience with that, however when I applied I did find that admissions was TOTALLY backlogged for most of January from the winter break and they were slow to respond while they caught up.

bump… anyone else have this?

^I’m not even certain that you’d receive a response it your schedule still meets the recommended courseload, which it sounds like it does. Take the attitude that no news is good news.

Since you sent them a notification, it should be good.

If in the rare case they question your course change, tell them you tried to notify them on x date and just state the reasons why.

I’m sure its not going to be a problem though.
