<p>how lenient is nyu with 2nd semester grades?
i got in ed .....my 2nd quarter grades are fine and im jst wondering how much i can slack off for the rest of the school year :)</p>
<p>Hahahaha I love this question. It seems to be on all our minds right now. I've heard you just have to mantain a 2.0, but some say a 3.0. I'm just going to try to get AT LEAST a 3.5 just to stay safe. I mean, how much would it suck if after all this work of applying and doing well the other 3 years in high school, you then get recinded? Oh well, either way it looks like it's going to be a long five months...</p>
<p>Here's my deal: I'm in essentially all AP classes, so my weighted GPA and unweighted GPA are significantly different. This past semester I got all B's and one A, but all the B's are in AP classes, so it's not as if I've been slacking. This brings my weighted GPA to a competent 4.0, but my unweighted is horrific, in the 3.14 territory. Comments, please? Oh, I got in ED, if that means anything, or you didn't already assume.</p>

<p>just out of curiosty what happens if ur admission is rescinded? Do you lose a year and then reapply to college? that would really suck.</p>
<p>You may be able to talk to admissions, if you have a valid reason why your grades fell so drastically. Otherwise, you wait a year.</p>
