I am sort of confused. Colleges still see your 2nd semester grades, right? Then how come people at my school are like, "Hey, don't even bother. It's 2nd Semester Senior Year!"

????? Won't colleges boot you out if your grades plummet? Then why are kids supposedly slacking off?

No college is going to rescind someone for getting B's instead of A's.... but if you are wait listed it can make a big difference... and scholarships care...

I have a lot of kids saying that at my school as well. When I think of "slacking off", I feel as if I don't have to stress over every little thing; if I get a B here or there, it won't be a big deal. When your taking college level classes in your senior year, colleges known it's going to be tough, especially due to the fact that you are worrying about college. Just as long as your grades don't plummit to straight C's you will be fine.
