Will my college drop me if I have a few C’s? I have some B’s and C’s right now but they’re all AP’s and I think I can raise 1 of my C’s up to a B, but I’m scared of being rescinded Do colleges really look at second semester senior year grades? I’ve heard from a lot of people they don’t really care unless it’s like a D or and F but some people tell me that they do care so I’m confused and lost and scared and
It depends on the school, but most people say that Ds (or worse) are what put a student at serious risk. An A/A- student who winds up with some Bs and a C in the spring of senior year is almost certainly okay. Schools do require a student’s final transcript to show that they did graduate, so they do see the final grades.
Keep working to improve those Bs and Cs, take charge, meet with your teachers about opportunities to improve etc. Doing something, instead of spinning in circles with worry, will help you feel better and will work to bring your grades up.
