i know its alot but thanks again!! hopefully all will go well…

i'm not an expert at this so yeah, this is just my opinion:

i think the act that your GPA is a little "low" and i believe your rank is a bit could work against you.

I had worse SATs (1230) and ACTs(27) than you did but i have a higher GPA(3.8-ish) and a higher ranking(41/189). I got into USC and i am black too.

forgot to say GOOD LUCK!!

You have amazing test scores, how on earth are you not even in the top 50% of your class!? Is it ridiculously competitive or do you just not try very hard? If it is the ladder, I don't know how comfortable you would be at one of the really competivie schools.

Your ACT score is fine. I think that if anything, your gpa will hurt you. However, what could balance out your gpa is your minority status and being a first generation college student in your family. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

i would say you're a top candidate for any of those schools. your GPA is somewhat low, but since you're a URM with such a great ACT score, you'll probably get into all of them.

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! i appreciate the help!
