2nd time around?

Ok so the April SAT was my first and I did far worse than what I was expecting to do. Im a junior and Im planning on applying to a SUNY school, preferably Geneseo, which would mean I would need somwhere in the 1220-1320 range. I only scored in the 500's for both math and cr my first try. I signed up for the june SAT and ACT. Basically I just need some suggestions on how I can boost my score by atleast 100 points. I kind of went into the first one cold; I bought the official study guide but didnt really get around to using it. Anyways some stratagies/study tips would be greatful! Its so disappointing when you work so hard on the test and then all your friends get in the 600-700's and act like it was a breeze. There has to be a way I can beat these darn thing or atleast boost my score hah!!!?

Practice ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all you can do. Just my 2 cents.

Use the study guide. Take the tests. :) Really, practice is the only thing that'll help.

hah thats what I was afraid to hear but hey if itll help, sweet.
