3.0 GPA/1770 SAT

Hello!
I am currently a senior at a highly rated High School in New York. I'm feeling very hopeless about my chances of getting into college. Right now community college is not an option I would see myself being happy with. I have about an 83.4 average unweighted, which I understand to be around a 3.0 GPA.(Not sure because my H.S. doesn't use a 4.0 GPA scale) I have taken 3 SAT's and my highest composite score is 1770/2400 (1150/1600: 620 CR/530 M) . I just took the October SAT and ACT, scores have not come out yet, but I am hoping that my math score improved.

I am heavily involved in many clubs at school, and I have taken 4 service trips to Central America through a club at school. I would prefer to go to a medium/big school, out of state. My desired major is International Relations, and my dream school is University of Colorado-Boulder. I have also been looking at Indiana University, U of Georgia, Ohio University, Ohio State, and Michigan State. Do I have any chance of getting in?
Any other suggestions of schools I have a chance of getting into? Financial Aid will not be needed.

Thank You!

(more info)
I have ADHD which has affected my performance in school, but my grades have had an upward curve throughout High School.

As a full paying OOS you have a good chance in all those Unis as listed. But you might also want to look at some Private Schools such as BU, Syracuse, Rochester and American. Some maybe a bit reach for you, but it does not hurt to try.

work on your SAT

They are all realistic schools. What about smaller LaCs?

Those are all realistic choices and I would definitely look into Syracuse!

If you’re not set on leaving the state, I would definitely recommend looking into the SUNYs. My boyfriend got into New Paltz and Purchase with stats similar to yours and is now attending New Paltz. Also, they’re more generous to New York residents both with aid (if saving money is a factor) and acceptance. Good luck.
