3.0 gpa

What are my chances in getting into csueb , that’s my dream school. Or any csu? I have a gpa of a 3.0. Currently a high school student and graduating in June.

3.0 GPA is CSU GPA? Unweighted GPA or Weighted GPA? Test scores and intended major?
What other CSU’s did youu apply? Monterey Bay, Channel Islands and San Marcos would be good choices.
Average GPA for CSUEB was 3.1 unweighted, so based just on that, you have a decent chance.

My csu gpa is a 3.0, weighted gpa a 3.0 Nd in total for my SAT scores I scored 1180 I applied to Dominguez hills, Los angeles, east bay, and northridge

I think you have good chances at all the schools. Good Luck.

I agree - as long as you’ve completed you a-g courses, I think you’ll get into all the schools you list.
Good luck

I hope so. However, i am taking pre calculus to make up two math classes from the previous year. The final transcripts for the first semester of my senior year were sent in and i got three A’s , three C’s and one B. Will this affect me? @NCalRent‌ @Gumbymom‌

As long as you get no D’s or F’s you are Ok

I agree - no Ds or Fs, especially if it is a required course.

CSU LA has one of the lowest graduation rates in the entire CSU system (after 4 years, 93% have either dropped out or not graduated… and only 6.8% graduate!!).
DH is worse, though, with only 4% graduating in 4 years… East Bay is 10.5% in 4 years, Cal Poly Pomona 11%, Northridge 13.5%.
At a moderately selective university like St Mary’s of California, 50% graduate in 4 years; URedlands, 63% graduate in 4 years; Whittier, where students’ stats are similar to some CSU students’, graduate 62% in 4 years. Still with the same selectivity, College of Idaho graduates 50% of its students in 4 years, Westminster College in Utah 45%.

It matters, because all of these colleges have similar students (with similar difficulties, academic deficiencies, etc). The variation indicates that some colleges do a better job than others, perhaps through support centers, tutors, advisers, first-year programs, living-learning communities… lots of reasons.

Your odds are good at all 4. If I were you, all things being equal, I’d pick Northridge, where your odds are best in the bunch (and I’d run the Net Price Calculator on some other colleges to see if some might be affordable and have better graduation rates).
