3.0 senior req. WEIGHTED or UW?

<p>I’m VERY scared of getting revoked even before I get in. Some people have been saying that the 3.0 requirement is Unweighted, and others say it is weighted.</p>

<p>Does anyone know for sure?</p>

<p>Anyone have an actual reference to this requirement, or is it possibly just an urban legend? All I can find on the Davis website is just this very general statement on the counselor FAQ (<a href="http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/counselors/counselor_faq.cfm)%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/counselors/counselor_faq.cfm)&lt;/a>. </p>

Students whose academic performance declines sharply during senior year may have their UC Davis admission offer rescinded."</p>

<p>My daughter's offer of admission last year contained requirements to complete all senior year courses, maintain UC eligibility, and to notify them if she got any D's or F's. Nothing about a 3.0 senior requirement.</p>

<p>the UCD Admissions rep that posts here said that Davis does NOT have the 3.0 GPA rule.</p>

<p>for irvine it's 3.0 UC GPA senior year.</p>

<p>for UCSD it's 3.0 CUMULATIVE UC GPA.</p>

<p>for UCI..since this is a 3.0 unweighted <em>UC</em> GPA...a 3.0 means a C right?</p>

<p>From an email I got from UCI Admissions a couple of weeks ago:</p>

<li>If you are admitted, your admission is provisional and subject to your
successful completion of the courses you listed as follows:</li>
</ol>

<li>Freshmen: courses listed for 12th grade (minimum 3.0 weighted GPA for
senior year)</li>
<li>Transfers: courses listed on your application and provided in work in
progress (WIP) reports. UCI will only consider all application information
and coursework reported in WIP by the WIP deadline (e.g., February 14 for
F07 consideration).</li>
</ul>
