I heard that other UCs are requiring a minimum 3.0 GPA for senior year (either weighted/unweighted). I didn’t read anything about that for Davis (only that I need to pass everything with a C or better).

So… does Davis require a 3.0+ GPA for my senior year?

yeah ucd has the same requirement of 3.0 or higher for senior year

no they don't. the contract just says you need to have passing grades in every class (C's)

I think UCD Admissions even came on to clarify on that. He/She said that a 3.0 wasn't required but that shouldn't deter you from not doing so. It was some time ago so my memory might be a bit foggy but I'm pretty sure of it. A 3.0 isn't required.

This is weird... I had been thinking it was a 3.0 unweighted with nothing below a C, but I just looked at the admissions contract and I realized that the 3.0 provision wasn't actually on there. I must have just been hearing that from people who got into other UCs.

Can anyone provide a link to the thread where UCD Admissions explained that? It would make me feel much better. =)

uhh im in a deep hole right now

i am currently getting a D in AP stats and raising it seems like a 20/80

so any calming advice would be pleased

Do as the UCDAdmissions has said and notify them through the link they provided. Promise to take it over again at CC this summer. Good luck, I'm sending positive wishes your way joey. :)

sorry about that...i always thought getting above a 3.0 was a requirement. But the conditions of admission do state that we need to "Maintain a high level of performance and academic rigor with no marked decline from your previous coursework.
