Hey guys,
trying to transfer to my dream school the University of Notre Dame from Villanova University. I'm a Biology major (Pre-med) and have a projected 3.7-3.8 GPA.

Chances??? Thanks so much

P.S. - only downgrade I think is that I have a B in Chemistry (my major - only "B" thus far), I don't know how much they will look down on having a bad grade in my major rather than a course not related to my major...

Share us your high school records also. We may be interested to know them in order to chance you.
Are you going in as a sophomore or junior? Fall or Spring?

Did you get rejected in the first place? Cause I don’t see how you got rejected with rigorous stats from HS.

How are you suppose to submit your second semester grades in as a Fall Sophomore transfer when the application is due like march or april (you won’t even get your final grades til your done with the freshmen year in june)

ya I did get rejected in high school. I was real surprised to not at least be on the waitlist…

I bet they have you hand in your application and then when your final GPA comes in for the 2nd semester they have you deliver it to them. I don’t know if I’m 100% correct on that, but I don’t see how they would do it any other way

Notre Dame isn’t ridiculous to get into as a transfer (41% according to Collegeboard.com), but it has a shaky reputation for being when legacys who got rejected out of HS get in. If you think it was your SAT that did you in the first go around, take it again.

And the application for transfer for Notre Dame is April 15, they only have your first semester grades to go off of, maybe your midterms.
BTW, I’m looking to apply there too for next fall, good luck!
