3 Classes on Same Day, Is 10 minutes too short an interval between classes?

Hi everyone,

Two of the classes I want to take meet every Monday with only 10 minutes between when one ends and the other starts. Should I be hesitant about taking both courses, i.e. is 10 minutes too short to leave one class and get to another without having a break to relax, be prepared for the next class, etc.?

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the help.

Hm. Have you checked where the classes are? Is it even feasible to get there in ten minutes?

I know my S has had three classes in a row several semesters. I don’t know if he had longer than a ten minute window or not. I doubt it because he said he no time to eat or do anything but run to class.

There’s a map on the website. Some parts of the school (like the Science area) are not close to other parts (like the music building.)

You should be fine. You’ll quickly learn how to prepare for the classes beforehand, to have all the necessary materials on hand, how to get there, etc. The campus is small enough such that ten minutes is enough time to get from place A to place B as long as you move directly between classes.

Thank you! Do you think taking too classes on one day might be too overwhelming/too much of a workload?

How could you possibly avoid taking 2 on one day?

Sorry, I meant to say too many (forgot to put the many), as in 3 in one day. I’m just not sure what’s “normal.”

For example, is it common to have 3 classes meet on one day? Current students, what days do your classes meet?

Since most classes are MWF I would think so.

Not at all. God forbid you do sciences with labs. Then, you’ll be complaining.
