My dad filed my FAFSA today and when we loooked back at the print out, we noteiced the Selective Service Box was blank. He isn’t TOO sure but he THINKS he fillled in YES. is this for everyone?

Is teh EFC in dollar amounts?

There's a thread recently on this-- differing opinions. I think as long as you meet the school deadlines, you'll be fine.

We did our first FAFSA, when our son was 17, and the instructions seemed to indicate not to check 'yes' to that question unless the student was 18. That resulted in our application getting hung up until we changed it to 'Yes'. So-- just check "yes". If you didn't, you can easily correct the FAFSA online and resubmit.

Yes, EFC is whole dollar amounts. An EFC of 1350, for example, is an expected family contribution of $1,350.

Thanks a bunch
