Well I’ve been lurking around google again, digging up all the dirt I can find on Barnard and I noticed a few sites that says it requires 3 foreign language courses. Is that true? I happen to live in a small town and they only have 2 courses of Spanish (1 &2). I’m also a senior and it’ll probably be too late for me to change classes. Any answers or advise?

According to the FAQ on Barnard's Web site (Barnard College Admissions), they RECOMMEND, not require 3-4 years of a foreign language.

So, as long as the rest of your application is strong, it shouldn't matter that much, especially since you have taken the most you could at your school.

And, as always, my shameless plug: join us in waiting for our decisions in the RD 2013 Anxiety Thread! :)

I'm with etched - the anxiety thread is where it's at! And don't worry, B-nard only RECOMMENDS 3-4 years; if you didn't have access to it, you're fine. :)
