3 SAT IIs?!

Hey everyone,

I'm just curious as to which colleges require at least 3 SAT IIs. The thing is, when I signed up for SAT IIs I signed up thinking 2, Math and Physics, would be enough- Heck, my native language is Chinese and I've been living in Spain for lots of years so it doesn't make sense to take any of those. Plus, I already took the AP Spanish for a "5" grade...

Also, I've seen that Harvard and Princeton state quite clearly in their website that they want 3 SAT IIs from all applicants. Given that I'm taking 2 SAT IIs on November and that the December deadline for signing up has passed... should I attempt to take a 3rd one on January?

Will I be on time? Which one should I take? Besides those two language tests I could probably take Chemistry, but I'd have to prepare quite a bit...

Thanks ;)

The December deadlin is in 3 days, October 28th

habdragon, does that mean I would have to sign up BEFORE the 28th? Or can I sign up ON the 28th?

i think with SAT II's you can add on a subject on test day and collegeboard will just bill you for that extra one.

"habdragon, does that mean I would have to sign up BEFORE the 28th? Or can I sign up ON the 28th?"

you can sign up on the 28th

just take an extra test the day of the other two, and College Board will bill you the difference

i know princeton and georgetown both require 3. but you can take 3 on test day even if you haven't signed up for them all.

lol a princeton admissions officer came to our school today and when he was talking about the sat2s he was like "before you guys go off on me! the admissions people didn't want to require 3 sat2s, but the faculy and professors and stuff did because they think that sat2s are better indicators of an applicant's knowledge and strength and stuff, and its true. we really like the sat2s."

Lol, I really like Sat IIs too. Like, if you took the composite of mine, I'd have a 2330! HELLA TIGHT SCORE. But I have only a 2210 composite for the regular SAT. :-(
