30+ Club

Today I read the science intro on the first two passages, then realized I was slightly behind time and for the rest I just went straight to questions.

I went straight to questions as well. I was like, "Screw the passages..."

the last one idk...i looked at questions first and the couldnt figure out, tried to read but wth couldnt understand the graphs still

Wrong 10char

Does this club count as a ec lol. JK, congratz to everyone

My first time taking it as a junior in february (with no studying, just to see where I'm at w/o any studying):

Composite: 31 (31.25 UGH 1 stupid point from a 32 =[
English: 28
Math: 30
Reading: 36 (MASSIVE SURPRISE =D)
Science: 31 (somewhat surprising)

I'm pretty happy, a 31 w/o studying is pretty good =]

OMG first time taking it as well :)

Composite: 31.5 = 32 ;D god bless rounding
English: 34
Math: 29
Reading: 33
Science: 30

oh, is it a little weird that my Science section didn't contain my subscores?

No, mine didn't either.

Took it cold end of 10th grade for a baseline:
English 33
Math 35
Reading 32
Science 34
Composite 34 (okay UC school's will call it a 33 because writing was a 9)

Dang! Better than PLAN predicted. I'll let it stand. In fact, since PSAT will be NM Commended at best and all my goal colleges take ACT, I'm not even going to take the SAT.

I took it with 1 practice test as prep, so knew I wouldn't do well on English:
Math: 33
Reading: 31 (ouch...)
Science: 29 (expected)
English: 25 (AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!)
Composite: 30

^ Great job man =D

I guess I might as well join the club.

English: 35
Math: 31
Reading: 35
Science: 33 (no clue how; I was sure I'd bombed it)

Composite: 34

To kid who got the 36 above: Wow.

I get to join the club!

English: 31
Math: 29
Reading: 33
Science: 33

Composite: 32

Second time taking it, i guess i'm pretty pleased....
the biggest surprise was science! The first time I took it I got a 25 on science!!

I did awful on the science, 26. Well, part of the problem was that I was distracted and I didn't have a watch. How do you guys do it?

oh, nice job ephemeral!

darn, not the score I was hoping:
C: 33
E:32
M:32 <-- What the?? I was sure it was going to be a 36
S: 33
R: 33

God, and I thought I would be done with the stupid ACT.

Nice ephemeral! And 1st time?? wow

eritas: if you are reading the passages for science, don't. jump straight into the questions without looking at any info. for me at least, it is the only feasible way to finish such a ridiculously long section in the time limit. once you read the questions, skim over the appropriate diagram. very very few questions require any reading of the paragraphs.
