34 ACT vs. 2140 SAT

<p>I'm trying to figure out if I need to retake the SAT in October. My top choice is Stanford, but I'm not sure my SAT is high enough to be a competitive applicant there. However, I'm not really sure about my ACT, since I am not familiar with how the test is viewed. Is a 34 a competitive enough score, and should I just stick with that? Or should I retake the SAT come October?</p>

<p>An SAT-ACT conversion site says that a 34 ACT is translated to about a 2260 SAT.</p>
