"Haha, there are a lot of people with 800s on this site in CR. Makes me feel inadequate."

Yeah, well I've lost hope for an 800... I would be MORE than happy with a 770!

****. don't retake it murasaki. 2200 is a very satisfactory score. According to my friend there is almost no difference between 2150 and 2390. Thus there is no reason to do that well unless you just want to pown some peons. At my school, there are so many asians especially taiwanese adn tehy are pretty dumb in general. Almost everyone takes 2-3 sat classes adn a particularly useless class known as "The Edge" sponsored by the ptsa. One of them got a 2400 and was very arrogant so I decided to never take a prep class and study from the blue book. Didn't match him but got pretty close and shocked a bunch of idiots who thought that it was impossible for me to score high without the "expert help" of revolution prep. Moral of the story is After a certain level of score, it is all the same. Anyone 2200 is good enough. Only go for that 2400 if you want to teach some idiot peons a lesson.

^^That's a pretty cool story, actually, but besides pwning peons I want to get an increased chance for a scholarship at USC.

I'm studying for the SAT I in June as well. It's pretty stressful, but I hope that the payoff will be good. I really want a 2000 or above; I'll be satisfied with any score above 2000. I got a 1900: 730 CR, 580 math, and 590 writing. I would like to get 750 CR, 650 math, and 650 writing. Is that even possible? I am using the Barron's for the math, and the math is the section I am concentrating on the most. What can I do for the writing?

Good luck to everyone on June 3.

wow, I haven't taken the SAT since November and only got a 2020 then (1300 M+CR). I was actually going to take the May exam, but skipped it since I wasn't ready with APs and all and rescheduled for 6/3 (which cost $40 by the way).

I'm going to revisit blue book practice tests and hope for a natural increase. Otherwise, I still have my 33 ACT.

That ACT score is better than your 2020 on the SAT.
