3rd SAT subject test?

If the schools I am applying to only requires 2 SAT subject tests. Should I take a 3rd one anyways.

I would probably have 2 really good ones and a 3rd mediocre. Therefore should I still take this 3rd one?

If you are sure the third would be mediocre, then don't take a third.

ya, it would be pointless to take it

bump bump bump

No unless the third one shows another side of you that the other components of your application can't tell you. For example, I showed that despite coming to the United States at age 5, I retained Korean Mastery after 13 years by taking Korean SAT II's. Also, make sure to take it if your college requires a certain test. Many pre-med/engineering programs require the SAT Math II'C, and some romance language programs will require a SAT II in that category.

I am taking Math 2 and Chemistry which I should do well in both. 750+ hopefully.

Debating:
Physics (starting AP Physics B this year. but set the curve in my class the first 2 tests.)

US History (last year but not real good at this)

World History (this year up to around Middle Ages already but not covered whole text. Doing well in it)

I would go Physics but havent covered a whole year, so signed up for US History but probably would not be to preety. Maybe 600s?

I think the US History SAT II has a huge curve and so does physics (12 wrong for still 800!) Of course, they are the hardest...why would you take it if you know you are going to do poorly?

as long as your top 2 scores are high enough, then i would say to not worry about it and work on your apps/essays/school work instead
