4.0 GPA Community College Transfer Options

I'm in my first year as a community college student. I wanted to come for a year so that I could give myself a year to work hard and establish myself as a better applicant to colleges. I know what my grades will be this semester, and I am taking similar classes with the same professors the spring semester so I know i will recieve a 4.0 GPA for this entire year.

My HS stats were not very good.
-2.5 GPA
-30 ACT

I am going to apply to some colleges in Mid-May when I get all my grades issued back. Therefore, I will have one full year of college under my belt. (I have about 6 schools I picked out, and all of their deadlines are June 1) I will therefore choose to submit the ACT or not.

I have great college/high school EC's, REQ's, the whole shebang. My story is original, heartwarming, and inspiring how I came to mature due to death's, but I dont want to get into that.

Just based on my stats, and I dont want to bore you guys with all my EC's and all that stuff. But what colleges would you guys recommend (like what ballpark am i in?)

Target Schools: Northeastern, Bates, Trinity, Colby, Ohio Wesleyan

Any other suggestions/Chance me on these. Its so confusing this transfer process its really a hassle and a struggle and i just need some guidance thanks a lot!!!

bump…really no responses?

The transfer counselors at your own CC are the people who are best able to advise you about this. They know which students from your CC have been admitted to any given 4-year institution in the past few years, and they know which of those places look more favorably on students who have completed two full years (or even a full AA) before enrolling.
