I am pretty sure it was chicago though..

Yeah, I used that same book, but it says that because theres this "correction factor," which is the curve, I'm assuming. But without the curve, like a 33-34... I probably got like a 32-33 without curve.

yah just wish i got the effing who vs whom right...

it was headache not nausea... dont remember why but it was defiantly headache

what scores are you guys aiming for before you send them off to college?

That Ice Age passage was so totally lame and uninteresting. The only one I really liked was the Louie Armstrong one. All the others were so weakk.

haha i love how ppl say its defintely headache or defeintely nausea

who actually read that passage?
i didnt cuz i didnt have enuf time, so i guessed headache for the same reason (it sounded the most painful that acupunture could help)

Was the very last triangle problem, where it asks for area, 4? I was rushed for time... it looked easy enough.

Well apparently acupuncture helps relieve headaches AND nausea. But...when you think of pain, you think more of headaches. Nausea is more of...discomfort.

I think the math and science are going to have better than normal curves.

By the way I found out from a friend that this test was the EXACT same test that was admistered in October of last year. That test wasn't released though.

Akalboy-- I just want anything 30+

nausea was a distracter because it mentioned something about doing accupuncture on pregnent women with nausea. but the question referred you to a specific paragraph, and asked which one it cured, and it was headache because of hte pain thingy

Headache was the only with pain.

who actually read that passage?

ME!!!

I read all the passages and get done w/ 5 min left... no lie

cant do 60 math problems to save my life though

Damn, I don't remember what I put on that one.

I think I put headache aswell..

I thought it was the area of the triangle was 4. I suck at math, but I thought the height was like 2 and the base was 4...so that would be 8, then /2 is 4. I dunno thought. I was hesitant about putting that because it just seemed to easy and a bunch of the other answers had square roots in them.

i think at first i put headache, then read closer and put nausea? bah this is just a big mess

I'm trying to get a 34-35, but I'm almost positive I got like a 32-33... unless there's an uber nice curve. :D

wow, wish i had taken it in october instead of the sat's then, lol. do you know the curve from october?

and yeah, i really hope i broke at least 30 because my parents are really pressuring me, lol

I would be happy with anything 29 + for this is my first test. I am somewhat happy my first test was difficult because I plan to retake so hopefully the next will be easier.
