4/14 ACT Thread

Speaking of science. There was a problem with the color chlorophyll reacts with best or something by looking at the charts? I thought the graph said it was blue, but then common sense told me green. But i just kept it blue. what did you guys put?

well the march sats were real tough but the curve didnt work to my advantage

what was the last math question?

blue, i think i remember that too from bio uv diff. helps it

Yup thats it. Yay. Good stuff tiger. Anybody have anymore questions?

Was it families' or family's. I put family's. I didn't think families' looked or sounded right?

The NOT fit questions on english are so easy!

What was the one with a Box in a Box...

i guessed and put 169 or something, since that question was like a foreign language.

The answer was blue. And the other answer was chlyrophyll a was sometihng. cant remember if it was high or low.

I put blue on the science question

Family's on the English

family's. There was only one family

last three math were a
were the last two reading b, hopefully?? :)

Haha, nice drawing. There were 2 cubes with the area given, so you just get the sq. roots of each then subtract the difference.

The answer was parents' (or NO CHANGE, if I recall correctly).

...each of my parents' backyards...
Think of it this way:

The backyards of each of my parent
or...
The backyards of each of my parents.

It's parents, so you add the apostrophe to the end for the plural possessive.

I can't remember tests like that, only the answers.

Yanksman I think you are referring to the last question on that passage

the choices were:
chlorophyll a high
chlorophyll a low
chlorophyll b high
chlorophyll b low

the answer was b high because a started going lower as the graph moved right. I am sure of that because I was stuck between those two answers for a while

That about the one about rarest families "of" or "in" the retile (dont remember exact wording)

chloroplast.
thank god 10th grade bio :)

it was parent's
famelies of reptiles

The answer was parents' (or NO CHANGE, if I recall correctly).

-AGREED.

SO what was the answer to the box in a box one..i put 4 x SQROOT(2) i think or something like that
