has anyone registered to take the act again already? i'm thinking about doing that just because i know i can send in my best scores as opposed to the sat's where they see every score

OK this is really random. But when you guys are taking a standardized test and your eyes are focused so close up for so long, that when you go to look at a clock or something farther away it's REALLY BLURRY?? That happened to me my first ACT and today's.

Was the last problem of math 'C'? a/1-r one. (was it?)

It think the except question was the political party thing

was it on p or s waves?

No I will after I see what I get on this one.

The one on which is NOT on the Ice Age was like something about banking

It wasn't political. It wasn't economic or human error either. It was the last one. I forgot what the answer was. That came right from the passage. It was banking, as TMac points out below.

if we wait for the scores to get to us by mail, think we'll have them by may 4th (next registration deadline)?

Any other questions?

three of em were right in a row, the banking thing came after but had nothing to do with the question

was the question about p or s waves!

pleaseeee

rushed on sci....had to guess on 6-8 questions as a result.
i think english and reading were easy
math...i probably will get the same score as i usually do, between 24 and 28

aced the essay

P & S waves = refracted.

I was wondering though...how did you solve that last math one? (Where the answer was 25.5). I totally don't remember.....that math was like, yeeears back >.<.

Otherwise though, I thought:

English - good, but way harder than practice tests (from Real ACT). Therefore, not enough time to check every answer.

Math - same as above.

Reading - YESS!! Why was it so easy & quick?!

Science - waaay more pressed for time than ever.....eek. LOADS of opportunity for stupid mistakes.

Essay - Easiest essay topic ever; too bad my test proctors were NAZIS....they kept like, screaming at us during the beginning & end of the essay section, to make sure we weren't cheating or w/e o.O....man. They wouldn't even let me finish my last WORD, so my last sentence ends abruptly (which I'm certain will drop me a whole 2 pts).

Reading - YESS!! Why was it so easy & quick?!

I too, am very suspicious. Thinking hard curve...

Everyone need to jsut start rambling off all the answers they remember...haha

is the test curved or scored objectively on a set scale? and how many wrong can you get on each section to have above a 30?

-(a-b) for the absolute value one?

thats right beanies

Thats what I put beanies
