The score report for my May SAT Math shows that I got 60 right and 4 wrong. Is that really only a 720? and if so, is this a harsh curve or a normal curve?
Thank you

I think that's a fairly harsh curve.

For math that's usual. Sorry, but oh well.

It's usual for math.

I really thought that I had gotten them all right. I can't wait until I get the Q and A back to see where I went wrong. How long does it usually take?
Thanks
ps - I am taking the ACT Saturday for the 1st time also. Wish me luck!

4 wrong and 720 you're so lucky!
on the january test i missed 3 and got 720. Be thankful for your score.

It also depends on the type of question. I bet 88888888 missed all multiple choice so the -1/4 thing really killed his score (like 30 points compared to -2 multiple choice -1 grid-in). That always sucks!

I would also prepare yourself for the Q&A. Chances are, you made some dumb mistakes and will get VERY angry at yourself. Just be prepared (and check the official thread).

Oh yeah, it's usual for math. I misread originally--thought it said verbal.

ya. i missed 3 multiple choice... man... had i missed only 2 i would have and a 760.. shouldn't have guessed on that one problem :( dangggg

If anything, that's a generous Math Curve. I missed 4 my first time and got a 710, then I missed 3 and got a 720. I completely misread the questions I missed too. Agh I hate the Math Curve.

I missed 2 for a 770 on the old SAT.

are u talking about SAT 2??? there aren't even up to 60 questions on SAT 1

Sorry, you are right. I was so upset that I messed up. I got 50 right and 4 wrong.
I hope the ACT is better.

Yea...that is a pretty good curve....it's stupid mistakes like the one you just made (with 60 right instead of 50 right lol) that can make the difference between an 800 and 720.

I just hope I didn't make any of those same mistakes on today's ACT.

ur lucky. Usually 3 wrong (-4) is a 720.

That's a REALLY good curve. Wow!

That's a good curve. I got 4 wrong on the march test for a 710.

For all the info. That was my first SAT. I had heard that you could get some wrong and still get a very high score. Is that generally only on the CR? - or was that just talk?

Either way, I am done until at least September.
