5 AP's as a junior?

I've decided to take 5 AP's as a junior and whoever I tell that to seems to discourage me and say that you are Going to kill yourself and its too stressful for you. I'm sure people have take 5 APs and have been successful so can I please have some tips on how to manage these classes? Im going to take chem, us history, language, stats and calc AB.

Second question: do I need precalculus to succeed in calc AB? What if I go straight from trig to calc AB? I know it will be hard but I'm going to take precalculus over the summer. How hard should I expect next year to be? As a sophomore I took two APs - psychology and world history. Is this a bad decision? HELP!
GPA: 98.65
CLASS RANK: 2 out of 214

Essentially, yes. At my school you wouldn’t even be accepted into AP Calculus AB if you took trigonometry the previous year.

Good.

As for your actual question, the schedule will of course be rigorous and at times exhaustive, but if you put a lot of dedication and time into those classes, you should be fine. There have been people who have taken almost 20 APs during high school and they did fine.
