Just making sure if I am correct, 5 on AP lit you get one of the two semesters of writing seminar off?

If so, is it a smart move to do so? Does writing seminar usually boost GPA? Don't people generally enjoy it?

Yes, Yes, No, and No.

I enjoyed mine, but from general consensus, it’s a rare experience to enjoy your FWS.

I didn’t enjoy my writing seminar, but I can imagine others that I might have liked better.
and it definitely boosted my GPA, but I still used my AP credit to get out of the second semester. it was far more exciting for me to move onto prereqs for classes in my major.

Except for a few lucky people who happen to get incredibly easy teachers, writing seminars aren’t usually a grade boost. Take the credit and move on to your real coursework.

I really enjoyed my writing seminar, but not enough to take two semesters.

I love writing and some of the FWS seem very interesting. Is it still not worth it?

can you place out of both semesters by getting 5 on lit and lang?

No you can only place out of one.

The way FWS work (at least mine) were that you generally have a book or reading to do and then class time is spent having open discussion. There are also writing workshop days and other random learn about writing days mixed in.

Personally I think one is enough, and would definitely take the credit and just take another course.

I hope I get that 5 on the AP Lit. And in my other APs, for that matter
