<p>That makes me feel a little better, but also a little worse, about getting in. Sure, there are 50 more slots. But that means that there’s a lot more people applying this year. Yikes…</p>
<p>What’s even better is that they have ROOM for 50 more students, so that means they’ll ACCEPT more like 60 in the interest of yield (or even more… or less, I don’t know the percentage they use). Regardless of the exact number, Columbia will accept MORE than 50 people, because not everyone will decide to go to Columbia once admitted (I haven’t the slightest clue as to why…).</p>
