50 reasons to go to UCR.

I realize I will get responses like "Well, top universities don't need a list" or "There's so much about X, that they could never make a list!"

But I think this is an interesting read, nonetheless. Kinda wish my university had one, just for kicks.

great article

Nice. How difficult to get in for out of staters?

what are your stats

UCR is one of the easiest UCs to be admitted into. It is in the lowest tier of UCs by campus along with the upstart UC Merced.

Interesting article.

UCR is leaps and bounds above Merced at the moment. It's incredibly insulting to say otherwise, that a school in its second year with much more limited resources has reached the level of UCR which has been around for a very long time, developing itself along the way. It's basically unfair to Merced to rank it given that it's so new, but if you must, saying it's at UCR's level is ridiculous.

people will never respect UCR until they have some experience since they so readily bealive the rumors that fly around. That is how i was
