500 Things that I will/will not do in college.

1) No overloading.
2) Plan a schedule beforehand.

11) Party. Everyone says college is the best time of your life, so you best believe I’m gonna enjoy it.
12) Accept my inner nerd in all its screaming fangirl glory
13) Don’t care if people judge me for being a screaming fangirl
14) Find other nerds to be nerdy with instead of finding a group of popular friends that I’m not happy with
15) Set goals early, and push myself so that I achieve them
16) Actually attempt to dress well everyday
17) Get drunk at a party and get burned
18)Buy my books wayy early so I don’t have to wait in those horrendous lines.

24) Go clubbing until 4 am

100) Have my first kiss.

Do things in increments. Don’t jam a sport, difficult classes, and clubs all into one semester if you plan on sleeping at all.

Plan intelligently.

I’m going to admit I haven’t searched the three pages before this for what I’m to say, but just looking at the first post on this thread.

3) Take summer courses.

You’ll probably have lots of people tell you why this is a bad idea, but basically you should be doing more with your summer than taking classes. It doesn’t really matter if you graduated early or did a double major or extra minor when you apply for jobs and graduate school. You need to utilize this break from school to gain the experiences you don’t normally have time for, such as internships, in depth research, and other time-consuming activities. If you really can’t find anything to do over the summer (you’re probably not looking hard enough) you can consider it. If you’re under financial pressure to graduate early, it might be worth consideration, also.

101) Try not to be self-absorbed. Listen to others. Just watch Girls-HBO and do just the opposite.

I will not try like i did in high school…

I will not be the one to collect money for concert tickets, the limo, for someone’s gift. So many times during high school we did stuff that required someone to collect money and then so many times it was my mom’s credit card. No more, I got stiffed too many times. I am going to use Splitzee.com and all the other group sites online rather than doing the work myself. Signupgenius.com - I used it for a recent volunteer group that I ran. So much easier!
