6.8% Acceptance Rate

This year, Brown had a 6.8% RD Acceptance Rate (I just did the math for fun).

Using this source (http://www.browndailyherald.com/2016/03/31/brown-admits-2250-to-class-of-2020/), there were 32380 applications. 3030 applied ED, so 32380-3030 = 29350 applied RD. Combined with those who were deferred ED (1905), 29350+1905 = 31255 applications were considered for regular decision.
2117 RD acceptances / 31255 RD candidates = 6.77% acceptance rate.

I just decided to post this since I couldn’t find the statistic anywhere else online. Congrats to everyone accepted to Brown!
