I can't wait.

Stanford is such a great school, and since Computer Science is my forte with a ton of VCs, it would be such a dream...

anyone goin to stanford primarily for computer science?

if I don't get in I'm going to cry and wallow in despair for a very long time. no really. bleh

i'm really anxious about stanford results too, but i'd primarily be going for premed. My cousin goes there right now, and from what she tells me, premed is amazing there.

Dumb question....when are the online ones out? or are they sent via e-mail? I'm close enough to the school (about 1 hr) that I'm tempted to wait for the hard copy since I'm expecting a rejection..... :[

this is what i heard:
Stanford sends an email notifying you that decisions will be out soon

wow.....any clue as to when their decisions are finalized? FYI...opting for hard copy because I'm convinced that the envelope will give me a clue as to the decision (a bit less harsh than opening the e-mail and it being a rejection without any mental preparation)....haha: boy am I lame! Best of luck to all of you

Here's what you do:
Start weighing your mail until you can come up with an average. On or around April 1st, take your mail with your eyes closed, put it on a scale, record the weight, compare it with your average, and bam youve got your decision. Who needs "reading"?

LOL.....but then I'd have to buy a scale! I'm pretty darn poor: your plan failed. But yeah...I guess all I can do now is pray and take it as it comes.

like a man.

ncaliguy06: Stanford sends out a link to all the applicants 3 or 4 days before April 1st. When it's April 1st, a copy of your acceptance/waitlist/rejection letter will be posted online.

^ this is what I heard from other ppl and from the office of admissions.

Thanks bookfreak89....I'm just curious as to when they actually finish deliberating or whatever it is they do in making their decisions. But I guess we'll never know.....or will we? haha
