Oh the Anxiety

The closer we get to mid-December the more I found myself checking this board...I don't know why. Anyone else Stanford posted decisions online?

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, I really wish they would post decisions online.

lol uh did you just reply to yourself, run4fun?

yeah i was kinda bored

Haha, I actually laughed when I saw that you replied to yourself.

lol, wow the crazyness of waiting for decisions

hahahahaha that was SO funny, you made my day run4fun!

wow.... :)

Its sort of good to get it in the mail though right, its like the clasic way. even though id rather get it over with online and not have to suffer through the device of opening a small envelope.

I think they should just post, in really big font, that "all applicants will receive the same envelope with their admissions decision. Accepted applicants will receive a large package a week after their acceptance letters," and do it that way.

But I guess they liek the mystique...

"The closer we get to mid-December the more I found myself checking this board..."
----> Me too :)

Is it right that int'l students will get admissions decision via e-mail by mid-Dec and receive snail mail later?

G'luck everyone!

lol yeah, but id rather be in the country because inl accpetences have to be redonculously low.

they do post online

This post is from two years ago. I just linked to it b/c I thought it was cute...

:)

I wonder if that person ever got in to standford..

Run4fun did get in, as did Bri and someone. JLP was actually a MIT early applicant, and she got it. The others, however, did not.

You can actually just check the SCEA roster for the Class of 09 on the SCEA wiki. http://www.hypothetic.org/ccstanford

run4fun is now a sophomore at Stanford.

If any of you are anxious about getting decisions back the best thing you can do is stay away from CC until you get your decisions. Coming to this forum will only make things worse.

Hahahaha marlgirl. I love reading the old posts on here, and it's so weird how close SCEA-ers got. It's just like we are now...

I get anxious a bit, but whatever happens is all good. I love the supportive & friendly atmosphere on here, and that's why I keep coming back.

:D

So if you get accepted you will get a big envelope as your first mail from Stanford and if rejected a small envelope? How does it work? Is it the same for RD?

You'll know you're accepted when you see the big red "Congratulations" on the envelope.

I've posted links to pictures of the envelope & its contents on one of the SCEA threads.

Acceptances, etc. are all same whether RD or SCEA.
