Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew any programs in any school in the country or otherwise that let you go from high school to medical school in fewer years than normal. I know USC has a 6 year medical program but it's REALLY hard to get into!

UMKC..check in the Multiple Degree Forum...they will help you out a lot more.

USC's Bacc/MD program is NOT 6 years. It's eight. 4 years of undergrad, and 4 years of med school.

Some european schools have six years medical programs which you enter right after hs.

I friend did a 6 yr medical program and decided to drop it too an 8yr because those 6 yrs are really stressful. I recommend if you really want to go that route then do a 7yr program. There is not rush to be a doctor.

theres a 6 year med school in Poland

In France, there you enter medical school right after high school (it is open admission). The first year, you will be taking classes like Org chem, biochem...
and if you are at the top of you class, you will be accepted to second year where you continue straight 5 years of studies and pratice to have your MD.
So in total, it's 6 years + 3 years of interships (family practice...) or 5 to 7 years interships for specialists.
What's great is that if you are french, you don't pay a penny at medical school! (except for your room and food but you can obtain scolarships to waive that also)

check out Sophie Davis

^Case Western's program is 8 i think

Oh, you're right. I think there's a choice of 7 or 8 years...not sure though
