690 CR 800 M 770 W after 2 tests, retake?

<p>So yea in March I got 690 CR 800 M and 770 W and I was ecstatic. But after doing something thinking, I decided to take the SAT once more in May to try to get my CR up a bit. In practice tests, I'd score between 730-770, and since many schools superscore I thought why not take it again.</p>

<p>Well I didn't improve in any sections on the May test, but I'm still confident I can reach 750 with my current skills.</p>

<p>Should I bother retaking a 3rd time in October? Would a 50 point increase in CR really mean anything?</p>

<p>if you are confident that you can do it why not make yourself as competitive as possible. i’d say if you’re going after HYPMS, yes try once more. otherwise, maybe not…</p>

<p>not HYPMS, but some of my tougher choices include UNC, UVA, W&M (all out of state), Cornell. Landing any sort of merit aid would be nice though.</p>
