690 On Chemistry, tips for retake?

I got a 690 on Chemistry subject test, even though I got a 100 on midterm and final in my AP Chem class. Anyways I also got a 4 on the AP Exam, so maybe I just don't know chem. What are some recommended texts/study guides so I can raise my score? I'm aiming for an 800, at least 780. Thanks.

Ive seen ppl do really well in their ap chem classes but not do so well on sat2s which is kinda ironic ya know. You should really focuse on learning the sat2 type questions and making sure ur comfortable doing those types of problems wo using a calculator. I dont have much advice to give u since im not a chem person but im sure w practice, you’ll reach ur goal. Good luck!

Barron’s ftw. Seriously though. Crammed the two days before using that book by making outlines for each chapter highlighting anything I didn’t know and ended up getting a 780. Had a friend who used it without even taking AP and got an 800.

Hi I’ve only taken honors chem and in a situation where i wont be able to take ap. I also had a terrible teacher and while I learned some, our class didn’t touch on many concepts. I tried learning out of Barron’s but I’m getting confused on some topics and the highest I’ve been scoring was a 580-610 on the Barron’s … Is there any way I can get near 800 with a few more this of practice? I’m thinking about getting the zumdahl textbook. Would that be helpful at all? I also have the PR.
