I'm going into a CC next year and I currently have 13 units, 3 of which aren't transferable, which leaves me with 10. Almost all the classes are filled and I honestly don't know what to take(I'm a business major by the way).

This is my schedule:
Trigonometry
English 101A
Principles of Microeconomics
Introduction to Business

I have 2 hours and 35 minutes of class on Wednesdays and the only Macroecon class left is one that happens to be on the same day, but it's starts from 6:20 and ends at around 9:30 PM. Is this too much in one day? If so, what else could I take? Taking accounting and stats goes over the cap limit at my school. Some general ed classes perhaps?(I'm going for UC's and CA privates).

In CC I went to school on T/Th both years averaging around 15 units a semester everything xferable. Just like edel, my days started at 8am and ended around 5pm… it sucked but it allowed me to work the rest of the week. The only problem is you end up building an addiction to either coffee or energy drinks :/

My current summer schedule at UCSD has me in class for 9 hours straight. I have class from 11 am to 8 pm without a break between classes. It rough but I carry a couple red bulls and a sandwich in my backpack to eat while walking from class to class. It’s def doable.

That’s not too bad. Right now, it’s summer quarter and I’m taking 8 classes, from 7:30 AM until 10 PM at night. Gotta make sacrifices so you can go to a good university, right?

If you want to transfer in two years you kind of have to put that many hours into your school day…but it’s still less than high school (in my case at least). Next semester i will have 6 hours of class on MW and 7 on TTH. But my fridays will be free, yay.

I went MWF last semester and took 19 units. My day was from 9:00-6:00pm! I wasn’t used to it at first, I did have some breaks but I just took those thirty minutes or less to go to the library and do some work or read. Practice effective time management! Oh, and don’t forget to bring a lunch. I prefer it more than the cafe food, although they did have these days when they made niceeee lunches, hahaha.

Went to school from 8-5:30 MW and 8-3:30 TTh. . . It sucked and the school started feeling like home but it was alright. Spent $$ for stupid lunches because my breaks were those dumb ones where there was a long time between classes but not long enough to make it worth my while to drive somewhere, try to find parking, and get to class on time.

i took 36.5 units in winter quarter, and had a full time job!
my mon to thurs schedule was:
school 7am-10am
work 10:20am-approx 5:30pm
back to school again 6pm-10pm

believe it or not, i received all 4 A+'s, the rest A’s, and one A-, and was still able to pull off a social life… can’t believe i survived

Not really but you will only have to go to school for 2 days per week :)

This was my schedule 2 semester ago

Physics Electromagnetic : 2 hours lecture, 3 hours Lab
Math Linear Algebra: 1 hour 30 minutes
Cal 3: 2 hours 20 minutes
All classes are TTH xD

Almost 9 hours per day but still managed to A them all lol But to be honest, I survived because those are my major courses which I love. However, if you toss something like Philosophy or History in that schedule then for sure I will ■■ up my GPA haha

This reminds me of the short time I had about two years ago when I was juggling a full school schedule while working three part-time jobs. Sucked; I was barely home at all anymore (only to eat/shower/sleep for a few hours), but man… I was ballin’ with how much I was making.

Last quarter on Tuesday I had class from 8:00am-7:00pm, with 45 minutes for lunch and another random 30 minute break some time in there. Tuesdays started out unbearable, but by week 3 or 4, I got used to it and it was manageable. You can definitely do your schedule.
