I am taking 6 AP classes next year. I am confident I can get straight As as they are all subjects I am very familiar with.
However, I want to take an Orchestra 0 period, as I have been taking my entire high school career.
Since it is a regular class, it will drop my GPA down. Will colleges hold this against me?

No, I see no issue with this, especially since you are not replacing a core subject/academic class with an elective.

Not good enough more ap classes colleges only like people with all ap classes

Er…okay. I’ll answer you as if you were serious.
Well we don’t have an AP Music Theory class. I don’t really have an option there.
No AP 7th periods either.
I could self-study, but I don’t think that’s what you mean.

it actually matters not

How does it impact your school rank?

Haha I was joking. Honestly, don’t overwork yourself… Colleges will not care if your gpa drops .0003 or whatever.

They loomk at what classes you take, not just a quick glance at your GPA. They’ll like that your in a 0period arts class.
