I am aware this is a terrible score. In my defense I was terribly stressed out but was still certain I got every question I answered right, but omitted 7 questions. The curve must have been terrible. My question is… should I send this score anyways? I’m also sitting on a 770 bio score 4.57 GPA and my ACT scores are coming out this week. The schools I am applying to include UCLA, Berkeley, Northwestern, and Uchicago. Will this ‘seriously’ affect my chances? My ec’s are more than solid and my essay is pretty damn good. I’m just worried that these score-heavy schools won’t care for much except my SATs
If your strengths lie in other parts of your application, then a 720 really isn’t all that terrible. Sure, it’s not standout, but it’s not a red flag for adcoms either. Subject tests are a small part of the application in general. Even if you did a retake and got 800, I doubt it would boost your chances significantly.
A 720 in Math II will neither help nor hurt your chances. I’d say only scores under 700 for subject tests would be considered low.
