Will a 750 on math level2 ruin my chances for NYU Stern and Georgetown?
I got above a 2300 with an 800 on math for my regular SAT 1
everything else i’m fairly sure is fine, extracurricular activities and GPA and stuff
but i saw my score and i’m pretty upset, i can’t take it again because i’m self studying like 5 AP tests
A 750+ on a subject test is great. Don’t look at percentiles. The group that takes Math Level 2 is self-selecting (only those who have taken pre-calc and who are applying to schools that require subject tests, which typically only competitive schools require).
Is this a serious question? Really? Sure there are people who will have higher but IMO a 750 shows that you have mastered the material and if you are not accepted it’s not going to be because of the 750.
I understand the question, given the ridiculous percentages on math II. But I say you are good with the 750, focus on other areas of your application.
750 is fine for any subject test score.
