I recently got my score from the June subject test date. I took the Bio M test and I got a 780. It says I am in the 89th percentile. Is this good enough for ivies or top schools like Princeton, Upenn, Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, etc? Or should I retake it?
And is there a difference between a 780 or a 800?
From an admissions perspective? No. Move on. Great score.
Great score - congratulations!
That’s a really good score! What schools are you looking into? Though all these schools are very elite there is a difference in all of them. For example, you might be valuable to one school, and not as much to another. This question is very vague in regards to who, you are to college. Where do you want to go for college? What do you want to major in? What are your Stats? And so on.
We don’t know. What % get 800? And 790? Each school creates their own thresholds where it doesn’t matter if you did higher or lower than others in that category . But we are not privy to what defines those categories. It differs from school to school too
But I can tell you, that score alone isn’t a deal breaker even for those trying to get accepted to the most selective schools on a pure academic record
