what are the chances of getting into a college if they want to see your 7th semester grades.. and do they have to above your current gpa level or what? cause i kinda slacked off.....

no one knows?

Generally for highly selective colleges that require mid-year reports with first semester grades, they are particularly looking to see if grades are being maintained and a drop-off of any significance can mean the difference in being admitted or rejected. Many admissions deans have said so.

It counts as part of your grades, unless you apply early Decision/early action. If you slack off they may waitlist you. For some colleges 12th is more important than the 11th grade.

well no i mean they were suppose to accept me or not on friday but instead they said need additional info/ 7th semester grades. does that mean i will likely get in if i get my grades up or not get in if my grades are the same?

I have never been in this situation, but I have read similar posts on CC, and from what I gather, the college is looking to see your grades from this year to decide whether or not they want you. I remember only one specific instance (on CC) where someone was told to send grades and got rejected even after they show solid senior year (7th semester) grades

sounds to me like you're on the edge... if you do better than you've done, you have a good chance; if you slack, you're probably out. If they're asking for your 7th semester grades and normally don't ask, then you're a risk, so they're looking for more information. If they're one of the schools that asks all their applicants for 7th sem grades then you could be anywhere in the pool of applicants. Typically, though, slacking off 7th semester is going to hurt more than help! You need to remain consistent and if it's evident you cannot or will not do that, then why should they accept you?

That means you are borderline and they need further proof of your academic record.

ya i kinda slacked lol... so im really confused i mean i took alot more ap classes but my grades are mainly all b's because of the classes im not sure if they want me to excel from what my gpa is or remain what i have

AP and Bs are not bad. I think you should worry if you have Cs or Ds. Hope for the best. Good luck to you!
