Just received a letter today notifying me that I received a $8,000/year merit based scholarship from the UM College of Engineering. I was just wondering if anyone else got this, and whether this is a rare offer.

I’m sure it’s pretty rare, especially receiving one this early. Congrats!

Could you please post your stats? I’m trying to figure out if I have any chance at any merit aid at all (although it’s unlikely due to my low ACT).

Also, did you only get a letter, or an email too?

Thanks!!
