Ok, 8 dollars isn't that much to get a score early... but I've already done it once. Do I have to pay 8 more dollars to get my score the second time around? Only post if you actually know the answer, none of you kids who think you're hot ***** knowing everything

from the official site:
There is a fee of $8 each time you view a set of scores during the early viewing periodnormally about two weeks after scores are first available to view. You are advised to print a copy of the scores page for your personal use before you leave the page. The fee applies regardless of whether your official score report has been printed and mailed.

why do they do that? they must have them done to allow the early viewing option so why charge?

...and I thought I hated the college board.

They just want your $$, another way to squeeze more out of you.

yeah. and it's probably the best way too.

sportboy, what test date are you talking about? Do you want to see the same scores again? Or did you pay for a previous test date and you are wondering if you will have to pay for the next one?

I think the April scores should be free by now; the February ones certainly are. If you are talking about June, you haven't seen them yet, so when you go to see them, it will be the first time and yes you will have to pay.

Actress, it must have cost A LOT of money to create the service that lets you see your scores online, and it costs more money to maintain it. Maybe when the service has paid for itself, they'll make it free.

hey hey before you go off on ACT think about this: SAT= 41 bucks

ACT= 29 bucks

8 dollars for early viewing fee = 37 bucks and you can see your scores in 10 FREAKIN DAYS!

Can you see your scores on the 20th if you took writing?

the writing will probably not be up...but it will say what you will see before you purchase it...

oh, so it does tell you what you'll see before you purchase? That's good! I guess I might look, but I'll wait until all my scores are up -_-

yes...when I checked last time I took the test it said that the multiple choice was their and not the writing...and then a week later it said multiple choice and writing.

It varies from student to student depending on if they graded you essay or not but it will tell you what it available to you are you enter your name and SS numer.

If it just says multiple choice is up, and not writing, everyone's multiple choice should be up even if you took the writing? Even if the writing isn't up yet, I'd pay to find out the multiple choice, I'm more interested in that at this point anyway.

Joe, the writing scores will definitely not be there for another week or two.

miss ind, the multiple-choice scores are posted online as they become available, regardless of whether you took writing; but not everyone's multiple-choice scores are available on the first posting (though the vast majority are).

paki,
Yes, but the College Board's $41 includes the writing test, does it not? With writing, ACT is more than that. BUT I think ACT is still a better deal overall, because everyone doesn't have to pay for writing even if they don't need it.

So if i took the writing do i have to wait another two weeks for my scores? or can i just get my mc tests on the 20th without the writing?

you can see your MC score for 8 dollars.
