<p>Seriously, read the paper, magazines, publications such as the "Atlantic Monthly". This is the only thing I can really think of, besides hammering the prep books.</p>

<p>That's pretty tough and a tad unrealistic IMO. Nonethless, you should buy the Official CollegeBoard SAT Practice Book and really study it. Take a prep course and try to read as much as you can, preferrably more advanced material. Practice, practice, practice.</p>
