800 Math Section Students

Hey guys, well Math has always been my weak subject and I was wondering for any junoirs, and senoirs that scored a 800 on the math section of the SAT what book did you guys use? Also, If anyone has any suggestions for the best math prep book, tell me. Please and thank you

blue book/barrons reg. new sat book

didnt use one. 800 both times ive taken it so far. Just relax and plug in answers on tough questions.

never use a book for math..

i didnt use one, but i would suuggest either a sat math subject test book (although its not the same test), or a college board book

I don't think most people who score 800 on the math section uses study aids to prepare themselves. Same for me too, not to be conceited.

I would suggest you to just focus on those books you get at school. Don't just do the problems that your teacher has assigned but also do some for youself. I know it's exhausting for those who dislike math, but it can be fun once you understand it. If you have time, start from learning how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide (I'm not trying to be funny). That really helps you boost your confidence in math.

All I did was do the sections on the test, didn't really prep for the math. Although, years of work in honors math classes may have given me and others a heads up.

now, ask those who made high 600s and 750s. I hope u'll get better answers! (well, no insult, it's just 800 guys MUST actually tell what they've done and that's very true from there side indeed!) :)

i havent done anything. 780
cr is what i must focus on

There's really nothing you can do to study for a 800. You can study for 700+, but for a 800, you just have to know the material and not make stupid mistakes! Go through your notes from your previous geometry and algebra classes and do the problems from the blue book. Look at your mistakes and learn from there.

I got a 770 (:(). All I did was do the math sections of the blue book as they came up. But I thought I didn't have to prep at ALL, because on nearly every blue book test I took, I got perfect on the math. So I was pretty disappointed to have gotten a 770. Blah.
